MMAMC: An Introduction
Established in 2012 BS, Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus (MMAMC) is opne of the oldest, most prestigious, respected and leading academic institution of higher education in Province no. 1. It is located in Biratnagar Metropolitian City – 12. The college is situated on its own 22 bigha of land. There is student friendly learning and natural environment in MMAMC. It has offered several programs and subject in Science, Management, Education, Management and Social Sciences in Bachelors, Masters and Phd. level.

BCA Program at a glance:
Tribhuvan University has provided affiliation to launch Bachelors of Art in Computer Application (BCA) program MMAMC, Biratnagar since the academic session 2075/76. BCA is a four year, eight semester program which intends to develop within students a range of competencies in problem analysis and solving techniques of computer, business skills and software design and development. The BCA aims to produce skilled software developers with sound technical background and knowledge to develop well designed, robust and reusable computers based solutions to a range of problems in business and industries. The BCA graduates from MMAMC are prepared to enter in Internet, Intranet, network and mobile application design and development, system analysis, object-oriented programming, multimedia, testing and quality assurance, project management or database design and administration.
Objectives of BCA:
1. Train students to create solutions of the problems related to information systems commercial, financial, governmental or other types of organization.
2. Provide knowledge on various tools, concepts and techniques of doftware development.
3. Prepare students for career in dynamic and continually evolving IT Officer at Nepal Government.
Build up sound verbal and written communication skills.
Provide solid foundation for further studies leading to MCA, MIT, MS Computer Science and MBA.
Medium of instruction and examination:
The medium of instruction and examination in the BCA program shall be english.
Entry requirement:
The entry requirement for student in BCA is intermediate level or Higher Level (+2) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least second division (45%) marks or +2 pass with minimum 2 CGPA with no less than ‘D+’ in any subject. Beside the basic academic requirement, an entrance examination will be conducted for all the applicants by the concerned Dean’s Ofice, Trivuwan University, Kathmandu.
